On ACEN011 Toronto’s Stacey Sexton follows up a series of self releases with a two track release that favours a contemporary take on the staple sounds of house and techno over the All Centre signature sound of broken bass and precision married with evocative melodies.

‘Necessary Desire’ enters proceedings with a tough four to the floor kick drum that refuses to look back. Accompanied by sparse modulated vocal chops and supporting percussion referencing sounds familiar to dance music fans old and new, there track pulses along whilst a screeching vocal, dubbed out fx and a chromatic hollowed out melody bounce across the stereo field.

B side M’excite continues with the sonic palette established on its counterpart. Lively percussion and further vocal chop dance around a steady kick pulse whilst a bed of whirring organs hold up the tracks dynamic fx selections as they unfold.

‘Necessary Desire’ is available across all platforms from the 22nd of November.
