Following a series of self released singles, Bristol’s Twinsen
links up with All Centre for a release that marks a departure
from the labels focus on club excursions, and towards a
haunting, introspective sound.

Lead track ‘Holy Reach’ employs distorted drums and dense
pads familiar to any All Centre listener, coupled with Twinsen’s
introspective lyrics, dwelling on the metaphysical with lyrics
such as ‘it’s bigger than I could ever be’.

On ‘They come alive in the darkness’ rich chords are pulled
apart and arranged in delicate phrases, pushed along by
Twinsen’s vocals towards the songs understated chorus. It’s
at this point that the arrangement shifts to the major and
skittish drums push the upbeat to the track through a buoyant
chorus.

The release’s final track ‘Tapped to box room’ draws the listener
back down into the brooding space that Twinsen’s music
occupies. Orbiting around a heavy kick drum, a choked flute
melody slowly develops winding in and out focus amongst a
dense sonic atmosphere.

‘Holy Reach’ is available across all platforms from the 4th of
December.
